Biography:

Sam Gadsby joined the Blues in June 2023, after spending 11 years playing through Dorchester Town’s youth teams. In his debut season, at 17 years-old, Gadsby made 36 appearances, one highlight being a late winner against Bournemouth Poppies. His first-rate form earned him a move to Bashley but returned to Portland United in November 2024. Since then, the young centre-back has been an important pillar of the defensive unit. Gadsby earned the Player’s Player of the season award for the 2025/26 season.
