Portland United are delighted to confirm the signing of Harley Brook.
The talented youngster joins the Blues from Bridport FC, where he swept up their sponsors player of the season and home player of the season.
Harley spoke to the club following his arrival:“I’m very happy to make the step up to Portland and sign for them, I’m looking forward to a good year. In terms of play style, I am a quick wingback who likes to whip crosses in. I feel I can help impact the team by bringing energy, intensity and competitiveness. I would also say I’m dynamic and versatile and hope to make an impact to the team.”
First team manager Kyle Critchell also spoke on Harley’s signing:
“We’re delighted to welcome Harley Brook to the club from Bridport! Harley has been on my radar for the last couple of seasons, and the work Chris Herbst has done with him has helped him develop into a fine young player. He has many of the qualities and characteristics needed to play at a higher level and continue his progression. Harley gives us great flexibility, arrives in excellent physical condition, and is ready to compete for a starting berth straight away. Just as importantly, he’s a smashing lad with real desire to learn and improve. A big thank you to Bridport and Chris, and we wish them all the best.”
