Portland United U18s continued their pre-season preparations in impressive fashion on Tuesday evening, running out convincing 5-2 winners against Poundbury Reserves at the Camp & Satherley Stadium.

The Young Blues were dominant from the outset and produced a strong all-round performance, controlling much of the game and creating plenty of opportunities. Their attacking play was particularly impressive, with five goals reflecting their superiority on the night.

Although Poundbury Reserves managed to find the net twice, Portland remained firmly in control and never looked likely to surrender their advantage. The Young Blues continued to play with confidence and purpose throughout the match and thoroughly deserved their 5-2 victory.

With the new season fast approaching, it was another encouraging performance from the Portland youngsters, providing plenty of positives for the management team as preparations continue.
