Terras Triumph in Tough Conditions

Weymouth advanced to the quarterfinals of the Dorset Senior Cup after a hard-fought victory over local rivals Portland United. On a windy and wet evening at Camp & Satherley Stadium, the Blues battled valiantly but were ultimately outclassed by their National League South opponents.

The Terras’ Andy Robinson broke the deadlock just before halftime, leaving the home fans despondent. Despite Portland United’s determined efforts, Weymouth sealed the match with two late goals: Ezio Touray struck in the 83rd minute, followed by Euan Pollock in the 87th minute.

Weymouth’s performance ensured a well-deserved win and a place in the next round against Wimborne Town. Their superior class shone through, demonstrating why they compete three leagues above the Blues.
