A MUCH improved second half performance was not enough as Portland United lost 3-2 to Hamworthy Recreation in the Wessex League.
The Blues found themselves 2-0 down at the break before an action packed start to the second saw three goals scored in ten minutes.
Playoff chasing Hamworthy came out firing on home turf and were soon gifted a glorious opportunity to open the scoring after being awarded a penalty six minutes in.
