Hamworthy Utd Reserves faced off against Portland in a competitive match that saw the visitors emerge victorious with a 2-0 win. The home side went down to 10 men before half time, but it was Portland who managed to find the back of the net twice in the second half.
On the 56th minute Portland’s Sanchez Baker confidently converted a penalty to give his team the lead.
And on the 65th minute Troy Wallbridge doubled Portland’s advantage with a well-taken headed goal.
Despite their efforts, Hamworthy were unable to break through Portland’s defence, and the match concluded with Portland securing a well-deserved victory.
